Meet Tom Davies – Head PGA Professional
Tom completed the PGA Foundation Degree in 2007 at Machynys Peninsula G&CC. He then went on to compete full time on various tours around the world including the Asia Tour. Tom was then made the Head PGA Professional at his home club of Maesteg Golf Club where he built a very successful business in the 4 years he was there.
He was then headhunted by Trackman, to become their UK Sales Representative. Tom’s knowledge on coaching and custom fitting was quickly noticed by some of the world’s leading coaches and players, he remained at Trackman traveling all over the world for 3 years, when he was offered a position at TaylorMade as a European Tour Representative. Tom worked with the world’s best players and became a particular favourite of Jason Day, Justin Rose, John Daly, Bradley Dredge and Paul McGinley to work with.
After 4 years on Tour, Tom started his own business, which is Tour Fit Golf, he ran this in conjunction with his previous role at Ashburnham Golf Club. Tom is a keynote speaker and has delivered seminars and lectures all around the world on his knowledge on Tour and of club building, club fitting and coaching.
In the recent years, Tom has been selected to be one of the club fitters for several LIV tour events and has recently worked with Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, Lucas Herbert and Phil Mickelson.
Meet Harrison Duckett – PGA Professional Coach
Harrison brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Langland Bay Golf Club as a fully qualified PGA Professional Coach. Having honed his skills at prestigious clubs both in New Zealand and the UK – including the renowned Hankley Common – Harrison’s coaching style combines a global perspective with a deep understanding of the game.
When he’s not coaching, Harrison enjoys watching a game of football and fitting in the odd round of golf when he has time. Living in Tenby, he’s perfectly situated to enjoy the stunning golf courses in Wales and the vibrant local sports scene.
In 2025, Harrison is looking forward to playing some events on the west region and his greatest golfing achievement was playing for Wales Under 18s.
With his extensive background and enthusiasm for helping golfers improve, Harrison is here to help you elevate your game and enjoy golf to its fullest.
Harrison is available for lessons on Wednesday evenings and early Saturday mornings as well as a mixture of mornings and afternoons in the week, offering a flexible scheduling to suit your needs. Matthew has been with Langland Bay Golf Club since March 2023 and, during this time, has built strong relationships with our members. Currently in his second year of PGA training, Matthew is both a PGA Trainee Professional and Senior Technician.
His expertise goes beyond coaching and fittings – Matthew is responsible for building the majority of our custom orders, ensuring that every club meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
